Strengthening the offer within surgical instruments

Asker Healthcare Group’s subsidiary OneMed A/S has acquired the Sterilean brand and related products and services from the founder. Sterilean is a highly specialized company which sells surgical instruments, service and repairs to public and private hospitals in Denmark.

“We are happy to strengthen our offering within surgery with Sterilean’s portfolio of high quality surgical instruments and sterile containers. Sterilean has a strong standing among surgeons and nurses as a provider of surgical instruments. Further the unique service offering where instruments are repaired and serviced instead of being replaced, is very much in line with our strategic focus on creating more sustainable solutions for Danish healthcare,” says Morten Nielsen, MD OneMed A/S.

The Sterilean business will be fully integrated into OneMed’s current business in Denmark and current general manager Leif Juhl-Jørgensen will continue in a consultancy role in order to secure a good transition for current customers.
