Hanna Merikanto appointed new country manager for Finland and four business areas become three

Hanna Merikanto, currently Business Unit Director in Onemed Oy, is from today 3 May, appointed country manager for Asker Healthcare Group in Finland and Managing Director for Onemed Oy. Hanna succeeds Markus Henriksson who after 13 years in the group has decided to pursue new opportunities.

To further facilitate scale benefits and knowledge sharing between the markets which share similar structure and product offerings, Business Area East (Finland and Baltics) will become part of Business Area North (today Sweden and Norway).

The change in business areas will be retroactive in Asker’s accounts from 1 January 2024. Asker now has three business areas: North (Sweden, Norway, Finland and Baltics), West (Benelux and Denmark), and Central (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
