Healthcare has negative climate impact both via emissions in the production of disposable products and via the high volume of waste generated after the products have been used.

Asker's central role in the value chain creates opportunities to positively influence more sustainable patterns of consumption and production. Asker's companies help healthcare companies choose more climate-efficient products. Another ambition is to exert influence on suppliers to reduce the environmental and climate impact of their products.

• All companies have Scope 1, 2 & 3 inventories and on-going projects to deliver on reduction targets in line with SBTi
• Co-operation with selected suppliers and Evercare Medical to develop circular products
• Co-operation with selected customers on waste reduction project
