Healthy lives

Asker aims to offer effective, high-quality and safe products and services that enable more people to live healthy lives. Asker also aims to contribute to reducing the total cost of care for society.

According to the UN, the proportion of the population aged 65 or older is expected to increase from 11 percent today to 16 percent in 2050. At the same time, the proportion of people living with chronic diseases such as diabetes is increasing. This is already creating shortages of health professionals and imposing considerable strain on the healthcare sector.

By offering a full range of effective, high-quality and safe products and advising on the right product, proposing alternative, more cost-efficient products or other services, Asker can improve patient outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.
