Healthy People

Asker must be an attractive employer and provide products and services from a fair and sustainable value chain.

In many cases, medical supplies, devices and equipment are produced in countries where there is a higher risk of corruption and human rights violations than in Europe. Market demand for high-quality products made under fair conditions is growing.

Through proactive co-operation with suppliers and third-party manufacturers, Asker is seeking to maintain a fair and safe work environment both in its own operations and throughout the value chain.

  • Enable initiatives and training courses to ensure a fair, safe and equal opportunity workplace with a high level of employee satisfaction
  • All employees must be trained in and act in accordance with the Code of Conduct, including against bribery and corruption
  • Ensure that a supplier due diligence process is implemented in all companies to minimise the risk of human rights violations in the supply chain
