Enters an agreement to acquire MediReva with EUR 150 mn in revenue | Asker Healthcare Group

Asker Healthcare Group’s subsidiary in Netherland enters into an agreement to acquire MediReva. The acquisition strengthens the Group’s presence in Europe and the position in medical devices with related services, mainly in ostomy and urology.

MediReva consists of a group of specialised companies with a combined workforce of 500 and annual sales of close to SEK 1.4 billion. MediReva has a broad product and service portfolio with expertise in ostomy and urology with related medical devices. The company's operations cover Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria.

All companies of the MediReva Group will join, with the MediReva brands continuing to exist. MediReva's employees and operations will continue to develop under the Asker Healthcare Group. The various works councils of the MediReva have expressed their support regarding the acquisition. Following approval from the Competition and Healthcare Authorities, the parties expect to complete the acquisition by the end of the year.
