This standard is applicable across all industries and is not limited by the size of an organisation. This makes it useful for our smaller businesses with a limited legal responsibility scope in relation to medical devices.

For companies in our medical device sector, we comply with ISO 13485, the most widely used international standard for quality management in the medical device industry. This standard covers the entire life cycle of a device, from design and development to production, installation, and servicing. Compliance with ISO 13485 is often a prerequisite for regulatory approval of medical devices in many countries.

Our commitment to environmental sustainability is demonstrated through our compliance with ISO 14001. This standard helps us improve our environmental performance through efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. It requires us to consider all environmental issues relevant to our operations.

Several of our companies align practices with the ISO 26000 standard, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility. We adhere to key principles such as accountability, transparency, and respect for human rights. The seven key underlying principles of social responsibility that we adhere to include accountability, transparency, ethical behaviour, respect for stakeholder interests, respect for the rule of law, respect for international norms of behaviour, and respect for human rights.

To protect our information assets, we adhere to ISO 27001, an international standard focused on information security. This standard helps us protect our information in a systematic and cost-effective way through the adoption of an Information Security Management System.

Our commitment to the health and safety of our employees is reflected in our adherence to ISO 45001. This standard specifies requirements for an occupational health & safety (OH&S) management system. It helps us manage risks and opportunities to prevent worker illnesses and injuries.

Finally, we acknowledge and several of our companies follow the ISAE 3000 standard for assurance over non-historical financial information, which guides our audits of internal control, sustainability, and compliance with laws and regulations. ISAE 3000 is also used in sustainability assurance engagements, providing a comprehensive standard that applies to non-financial information assurance engagements. This includes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects or sustainability disclosures.
